Upon reflection of the 2020 project, I am proud to have executed each step of the design process successfully and provided practical solutions to identified issues. Notably, I identified a unique selling point for the product by recognizing the potential for marketing time travel successfully. My approach to design the experience resulted in a clear and enjoyable experience for users. This project allowed me to gain experience in all aspects of the design process and resulted in a final product that I am proud of.
As a visual designer, I acknowledge that although the design system I created met product-specific requirements, it lacked in some areas. I now realize that this product's system only satisfied basic needs. For instance, the padding of the components I designed was smaller than the standards. Additionally, designing each component individually rather than using native ones such as calendars may be challenging for software teams.
Despite these shortcomings, I view this project as an invaluable learning experience and am confident that I will continue to develop my skills and create even more successful designs in the future.
